Calnitsky Associates Architects Inc. is a multi­disciplinary Architectural and Interior Design firm established in 1986 and located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The firm is involved in a wide range of institutional, commercial and residential projects across Canada and internationally, including projects in the United States, the Ukraine and Barbados.

The experience of the firm and staff members is varied and extensive and includes a number of large-scale Design-Build projects requiring extensive site analysis, planning and project costing. A great deal of emphasis is placed on resolving programmatic requirements in a creative yet cost effective manner.

Most recently, in association with PSA Studio Inc., Calnitsky Associates Architects Inc. was honored with the prestigious Canadian Architect Award of Merit 2013 for the new Gillam Town Centre project undertaken for Manitoba Hydro. Previous work has been honoured with a Design Award from the Province of Manitoba. The firm was recognized as a finalist in the Manitoba Business Innovation Awards program and was a recipient of a Design Excellence Award in an international design competition sponsored by the City of Portland, Oregon. As well, numerous newspaper and magazine articles have been published, documenting previous projects.

The firm’s unique experience and expertise can provide an excellent project team particularly well-suited to complex projects. The firm encompasses both architects and professional interior designers with a broad range of experience. Our two disciplines allows us to carry a design concept through all aspects of the project, from programming and site planning, to the building itself, including interior design and furnishings. Through our recent projects we have demonstrated our team’s ability to respond to our clients’ needs, producing quality professional work.
