Mahpiya Hdega School, Dakota Plains Wahpeton Nation, Manitoba

Mahpiya Hdega School, located in Dakota Plains Wahpeton Nation, Manitoba, is a new 1152m² (12,400 sf), single-storey school with classrooms for students in kindergarten through grade 8. During the design process, Calnitsky Associates Architects conducted numerous workshops and meetings with the community to ensure that their needs and requirements were addressed.

The new facility includes classrooms, mezzanine, library, computer room, multi-purpose room, gymnasium, support facilities, and staff room.
