Cape Dorset High School, Cape Dorset, Nunavut

Calnitsky Associates Architects, in association with Penn-Co Construction Ltd., prepared design and construction documents for a proposed replacement high school for the community of Cape Dorset, Nunavut. The original high school building and recent addition/renovation designed by Calnitsky Associates Architects were destroyed in 2015 as a result of a fire incident.

The proposed new high school of 3300m² was to designed to accommodate 230 students, and included a large gymnasium and multi-purpose area as well as classrooms, administrative spaces and support areas.
